Meet some of the people

Orralee and Paul Shean brought her family’s hardware business from Arnett to Woodward in 1956. Ken came home to help carry it forward. At the store, birthdays and Christmas dinners made coworkers feel like family.

Ken and Carol raised Kurt, Kyle, and Karl here. They built the bowling building, too—family history, as Karl tells it. Shean’s Woodward Lanes carries those roots into the next good night out.

Bob Underwood

Started with Shean’s back in Arnett. When the store moved to Woodward in 1956, he moved with it—and stayed forty-six years.

Gene and Diane helped keep bowling part of Woodward life for years. We’re proud to remember them here.

Has kept these lanes running for the better part of forty years. His care for this building is part of its story.
